		Logarithmic-Exponential Series


I will discuss the construction of natural nonstandard models of the
theory of the real field with exponentiation. These models are useful
for obtaining information on asymptotic behavior of definable
functions. I will show how they can be used to answer a question of
Hardy's on logarithmic- exponential growth. This is joint work with
Angus Macintyre and Lou van den Dries.
